Atlanta, Georgia — Independent musical artist Crawdad Crash (i.e., 1-man band Steve "Crawdaddy" Crawford, former Hodads drummer and Fontanels singer / guitarist) has released his third album in three years. Entitled “Reign Of The Crawdad”, it contains 12 new songs (9 originals and 3 covers) with the same garage / punk / rock & roll sound established on “Dawn Of The Crawdad Era” and “Dawn Of The Crawdad Era, Part, 2”. Crawdad Crash synthesizes influences from a variety of styles — hard rock, country, R&B, surf — even reggae and Irish folk music on this album. Released on 2/16/2024, the album is available on all major digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, Pandora, Deezer, etc.
The album details page includes credits, streaming links, and Crawdaddy’s personal notes about each song. Highlights include:
Crawdaddy said, “I tried to take my time on this one, and I’m pretty happy with the results. It’s still raw and rockin’, but I think I’m getting better on every album — from singing to guitar to production. I hope everyone enjoys it.” This is Crawdad Crash’s third album, which he has said is part of a larger plan to release multiple albums — like the Marvel universe or Star Wars trilogies.
