When we were preparing the Buckofive songs for release, Steve H. reminded me that I contributed some lyrics to this song. I had totally forgotten! It was really Steve and Philip's song, but I gave them the line about Gene Simmons' tongue. 
We were all big Kiss fans growing up.
College Radio
This is one of Dale's songs, and I always liked the line "You never know what you can find — Motorhead or Patsy Cline". In the 80's in Atlanta, we were blessed with 2 great college radio stations — WRAS (Album 88) at Georgia State and WREK at Georgia Tech. While WREK was more experimental and out there, Album 88 played all the new up and coming bands I wanted to hear back then — Husker Du, R.E.M, Replacements, Cult, New Order, Shriekback, Public Image Ltd., Smithereens, Jason & The Scorchers, Guadalcanal Diary, etc. I have a vivid memory of dropping off 1/4-inch tapes of Hodads songs at WRAS, and they eventually started playing "Maggie", which can be found on Revenge Of The Hodads.
