The seed for this song came from a Terry Funk Railroad practice. My friend Robbie (from the Hodads) is a much better guitar player than me, and I'm a better drummer than him, but we like playing switching places in the Fontanels and Terry Funk Railroad. One night, he kept stopping on drums to tell us what we were doing wrong on guitar, and I got frustrated. I told him to keep playing no matter how bad it sounds — if the drummers stops, EVERYONE notices. But, if I miss a lick on guitar, no one will even notice but me. Anyway, that little seed turned into this song. Many thanks to Tim Queen for mixing and adding the awesome slide and shimmery rhythm guitar parts. Patrick added the other lead guitar parts to give it that Allman Brothers meet early Wilco sound.
